If you're like me, visuals often are helpful. I've created a music note visual that may be beneficial to help with belly to heart breathing technique.
I like to visualize a treble clef and follow the flow of the treble clef. I suppose years of music lessons is the reason, but I think it's a good visual for the belly to heart technique.
Steps for belly to heart breathing:
Starting in your solar plexus area and expand your belly out as you inhale.
then inhale into your heart
continue inhaling up to the Soul Star Chakra (which is about six inches above your crown)
exhale down to the Earth Star Chakra (about six inches below the root chakra)
and repeat
Follow the flow of the treble clef to see if it helps with the breathing technique. One technique that may help is printing this out and following along with your finger, or trace the treble clef in your hand as you are breathing.
I hope this visual helps. :-)
